This article analyzes information about the literary environment of Khiva in the second half of the 19th century, its distinctive features, its role and contribution in the history of Uzbek literature. The work and ghazals of two major representatives of Khiva's literary environment, Shah and poet Feruz, and mature poet Kamil Khorezmi will be discussed.
