Abstract
This article presents the method of determining the amount of flavanoids in amaranth plant and the obtained results. Amaranth family (Amaranthaceae Juss.) includes 65 genera of plants and more than 900 species. Of these, the Amaranthus L family is widespread. According to various sources, there are currently 60 to 100 species of Amaranthus L.
