For the implementation of the educational area "Cognitive development" through the process of forming elementary mathematical concepts in the groups of preschool educational institutions, centers of entertaining mathematics are organized. The center of entertaining mathematics should be equipped with materials and attributes that allow children in independent activities to develop skills, competencies to consolidate existing knowledge, to discover new things in the field of mathematics through peculiar children's activities: play, search and research, constructive, speech.
