This article presents some opinions on the socio-pedagogical necessity of developing historical and spiritual ideals and axiological relation to them. Also, in the article, the role of historical and spiritual ideals in raising the spiritual and moral image of society and the spiritual image of society members, as well as the definition of the concepts that make up the content of the spiritual ideal and reality, and the regulation of the relationship between them issues such as creation of a system, consideration of the evolution of separate concepts, forces that move the national ideal, and analysis of their nature are described.
