Abstract
The article evaluates such criteria as the rate of investment, capital return, capital capacity, and labor productivity of small businesses in the region. As a result of the study, the features of the potential and efficiency of small businesses in the region were identified. Based on the above, proposals have been developed to improve the efficiency of small businesses.
