This article is devoted to an overview of the phenomenon called “false friends of the translator,” which can have a negative impact on the translation of phrases. It is a continuation of previous publications, which provide a scientific basis, in particular, in the process of translating phraseological units, and will serve as a theoretical basis for compiling an educational phraseological dictionary for philology students.
