This article examines the importance and chemical composition of Juglans regia (walnut tree) in the national economy. According to the results of the research, it was found that walnut has many useful properties – it is widely used in the oil industry, medicine and agriculture. Also, the micro- and macroelements contained in it perform important functions for human health. This article provides important information on the further study of the importance of the walnut tree in the national economy and the practical application of its chemical components.
