This article analyzes how environmental issues are reflected in the ancient Avesta. The Avesta is an ancient written source formed on the basis of the Zoroastrian religion and its philosophy. The ideas and rules related to the preservation of the environment and its natural resources play an important role in the work. The strength of nature through its protection system and respect for it are of great importance in the teachings of Zoroastrianism. Crops, water sources, animals and other natural resources are described in the Avesta as interconnected systems that must be protected. This study, analyzing the ecological ideas in the Avesta, attempts to show the attitude of the ancient worldview to the environment and what solutions can be offered to today's environmental problems.
