Abstract

This article provides information on the morphology, anatomy, systematics, ecology, characteristics and importance of the division of diatoms. Diatom algae have a clear superiority over other algae in terms of distribution and have adapted to live in different conditions of the earth's surface. One of the distinctive features of its structure is that it is covered from the outside with a shield with a coccoid structure.
