This article analyzes the importance of philosophical disciplines in the process of organizing independent education in the exact sciences. The epistemological and methodological possibilities of philosophical disciplines in the formation of students' creativity and research skills through independent education are highlighted. The role of philosophical disciplines in deepening logical analysis, dialectics and cognitive processes is shown, and their role in the modern education system is substantiated.
