This work presents the requirements for the knowledge and skills of modern physics teachers. In order to train specialists who meet the qualification requirements based on new educational standards, the problems of organizing classes based on new educational technologies in the direction of physics education, abandoning traditional education, ensuring the consistency of classroom and independent forms of education, and methods for their elimination are highlighted.
