This article analyzes the importance of smart technologies and smart developments in organizing independent learning in higher education. Methods for organizing the educational process through smart technologies based on interactive and individual approaches, encouraging students to be independent in acquiring knowledge, and making the learning process more effective are considered. The contribution of virtual laboratories, simulations, online platforms, and personal approaches to the learning process is discussed in detail.
