This article analyzes the directions of formation, development and improvement of the social service system in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The reforms implemented to support the population in need of social protection, including services provided for persons with disabilities, the elderly, youth and socially vulnerable groups, are highlighted. Attention is also paid to the issues of public-private sector cooperation, digitalization processes and the use of international experience. The article also presents measures being taken to further develop the social service system of Uzbekistan and analyzes future prospects.
