This article analyzes the essence of the socialization process, its main factors and mechanisms. Socialization is the process of adapting a person to society, assimilating social norms, values ​​and cultural norms. The article covers factors of socialization such as family, education, peer group and mass media, as well as identification, intellectualization, and other similar mechanisms. Through these mechanisms, the integration of a person into the environment and finding his place in it are analyzed.
