The article provides an in-depth analysis of pedagogical methods for increasing the initiative of preschool children (6 years old). The study examines the role of initiative in socio-emotional and creative activities from the perspective of the educational system and cultural context of Uzbekistan. L.S. Vygotsky's sociocultural theory, J. Piaget's theory of cognitive methods of production, and Uzbek scientists (D.R. Babayeva, N.U. Bikbayeva, O.U. Khasanboyeva, M.A. Norbosheva, G.N. Khudoykulova) establish opportunities for productive work, creating opportunities, and effective development. The game-based approach has significantly proven the ability of children to make independent decisions, creative production and social activity. The study can serve as a practical guide for educators in the preschool education system of Uzbekistan.
