This article covers the theoretical foundations of the need for a responsible attitude to the environment in modern conditions. At the same time, the psychological and pedagogical foundations of the formation of elements of ecological culture in preschool children, that is, a responsible attitude to nature and the environment, are studied. The author emphasizes that the skills formed in children are of decisive importance throughout their lives.
