This article describes the process of developing self-service skills in children with special needs, its importance and effective approaches. It also analyzes the main problems encountered in this process, including physical, cognitive, motivational and social barriers. The importance of an individual approach, encouragement, special techniques and family cooperation as methods of overcoming problems is highlighted.
