This article examines the impact and effectiveness of using artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in history lessons in schools. The study analyzes the role of AI-based tools, including personalized learning platforms, virtual reality simulations, and intelligent tutoring systems, in enhancing students’ learning, engagement, and critical thinking skills in history teaching. Based on empirical data and test results, it is shown that interactive and contextual learning of historical events using AI can increase students’ learning and enrich teachers’ pedagogical approaches. At the same time, the limitations of AI, such as the inability to fully capture human nuances in interpreting historical data, and ethical issues, are discussed. The article provides practical recommendations for the effective integration of AI in history education and identifies directions for future research.
