The art of pottery is one of the areas that embodies the ancient and rich culture of the people, and its teaching and learning in fine arts classes is of great importance in developing students' creative and practical skills. This article analyzes the theoretical foundations of teaching pottery to students. The technology and artistic aspects of pottery, the methodological approaches used in teaching it, as well as their role in developing students' imagination, aesthetic taste and practical skills are discussed. Special attention is paid to the integration of modern approaches in the teaching of pottery, as well as its role in preserving national culture. The lessons emphasize the need to use modern technologies, materials, and aesthetic principles, encourage students to think creatively, and develop practical and artistic skills.
