This scientific article presents the results of an experimental study on the development of students' information literacy through telematics tools such as Moodle and Zoom in the higher education system. The main goal of the study is to develop a methodology for the effective use of modern educational technologies to form information literacy and to verify its effectiveness in practice. The article analyzes the theoretical foundations of the essence, components and development methods of information literacy. Based on the pedagogical experiment conducted in a higher education institution, the impact of using the Moodle platform and the Zoom videoconferencing system on the formation of students' information literacy was assessed. The results of the study showed that the use of the Moodle and Zoom platforms significantly increases students' abilities to search, analyze, critically evaluate and apply information. Finally, scientific and methodological recommendations are put forward for the widespread introduction of telematics tools into the educational process and the development of digital pedagogy.
