Abstract
The article studies the place of Uzbek national musical instruments in folk art.This study analyzes the types of national musical instruments, their historical development andsignificance in folk music. It also discusses the place of musical instruments in modern Uzbek culture and the issues of their preservation in the future. The study is based on an analysis of literature, ethnographicdata and musical samples.
