This article analyzes the changes and new approaches being implemented in the field of music education within the framework of large-scale reforms in the education system of Uzbekistan, especially experimental approaches to the formation of polyphonic performance skills. The content of musical culture, its theoretical and practical components, as well as the issues of organizing the educational process based on the harmony of national and universal values, are covered.
