The article discusses reforms in the modern education system, efforts aimed at the intellectual and spiritual development of students, as well as compliance with international educational standards and their development. The goals of assessing the quality of education and increasing the country's international competitiveness through the international assessment programs PISA and TIMSS are also considered.
