This article discusses the musical works of Uzbek composers for children and adolescents, their content, educational significance and artistic value. Mainly, songs, musical fairy tales, piano works and choral music written for children by famous composers of the 20th century and later are analyzed. The connection of children's music with folk oral art, the harmony of national melodies and modern styles are shown. The role of these works in the formation of musical taste and the development of aesthetic education of preschool and school-age children is also revealed. The article serves as a useful resource for specialists involved in music pedagogy and children's music.
