There are various pedagogical approaches to developing students' reading literacy. The CALP (Cognitive Academic Language Proficiency) approach is a methodological approach aimed at developing academic language skills such as reading and writing, and mainly forms students' logical thinking and academic language skills during the teaching process. This article examines the methodological stages of developing reading literacy in primary school students based on the CALP approach.
