This article discusses the adaptation (habituation) of specialists to professional activity - this is the social process of a person's mastery of a new working situation, in which the person and the working environment actively interact and are adaptive-adaptive systems. Professional adaptation is expressed in the acquisition of professional skills and qualifications by a person to a certain extent, in the formation of certain professionally necessary qualities in him, and in the development of a stable positive attitude of the employee towards his profession.
