The scientific article examines the issues of effective use of opportunities to replenish the herd of farms with highly productive and breeding animals in order to provide the population of Uzbekistan with high-quality and nutritious livestock products (milk, meat, eggs, fish, honey, etc.), as well as the organization of feeding livestock on farms with a complete feed ration, as well as the effect of feeding existing animals with a standard ration and compound feed enriched with nutrients. The results of the case studies analyze and explain changes in the productivity, constitution, condition and exterior of cattle. The article presents ideas for improving local breeds on farms and feeding them with nutritious feed. In addition, the effect of feeding high-quality feed to Swiss cows on productivity is studied, and the heredity of cattle and the quality of their offspring are discussed.
