This article studies the work “Matlaʼ us-saʼdayn va majmaʽ ul-bahrayn” by Abdurazzaq Samarkandi, one of the major representatives of the 15th century Persian historiography school, as a historical source. The work contains rich information about the political, social and cultural life of the Timurid dynasty. The author describes in detail the events witnessed in India, Iran and Transoxiana. The article highlights the scientific significance, methodology and interconnection of this work with other historical sources.
