Atherosclerosis is a common and serious systemic disease and is the leading cause of cardiovascular disease. In this study, the effect of the antioxidant dibunol on the serum lipid composition of rabbits with experimental atherosclerosis was investigated.The results showed that dibunol significantly reduced serum cholesterol, triglycerides, and beta lipoproteins, which confirms its importance in the prevention and treatment of atherosclerosis.
