Nematophagous fungi are one of the important microorganisms in the soil ecosystem, which play an important role in regulating the nematode population. The ecological role of these fungi is not limited to the fight against nematodes, but also affects the dynamics of the soil microflora. This thesis is based on an analysis of the scientific literature on the functional role of nematophagous fungi in the soil ecosystem, their interaction with nematodes, and their use in biological control.
