This article analyzes the role of metaphors used in the field of biotechnology in shaping scientific communication and public perception.Metaphors play an important role in popularizing complex scientific concepts and expressing ecological connotations. The results of the study show that key metaphors such as “engineering”,“editing”, “curing” generate different interpretations of how biotechnological processes affect the environment. The article also examines how metaphors influence political decisions and public debates.
