Obesity is a common chronic lipid metabolism disorder characterized by excessive accumulation of adipose tissue [1]. According to the World Health Organization, clinical obesity affects approximately 300 million of the more than 1 billion overweight adults in the world [2]. On the other hand, overweight and obesity are significant risk factors for the development of diabetes, coronary heart disease, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, atherosclerosis and other chronic diseases [3]. In this regard, one of the tasks of health care in many countries is to study the current trends in the growth of the prevalence of overweight and obesity [4].
