Nowadays, fundamental changes have occurred in the life of independent Uzbekistan,which made it possible to create a modern healthcare system that meets international standards. Biomedicine as a science is considered the most important part of modern biology and medicine. This field allows improving human health, developing new diagnostic and treatment methods, as well as applying advanced biotechnologies in medicine. The current development of biomedical engineering, based on the latest achievements of science and technology, allows for innovations in various aspects of the medical field.The thesis considers the prospects for the development of biomedical engineering and its place in modern medicine, as well as the directions of this science.
