The effective functioning of modern medical institutions largely depends on the uninterrupted and reliable operation of medical equipment, which in turn requires the high-quality organization of a preventive maintenance system. This article examines the current state of the preventive maintenance system for medical equipment in medical institutions, existing problems and ways to solve them. The article proposes a comprehensive approach to improving the preventive maintenance system, which includes modern methods of planning, monitoring and evaluating maintenance processes. The recommendations developed as a result of the research will help ensure the reliable operation of medical equipment in medical institutions and extend their service life.
