Abstract

This article provides a comprehensive review of the causes, main clinical symptoms, and modern treatment methods of myopia (nearsightedness). Hereditary factors, a lifestyle dependent on modern technologies, and a decrease in outdoor time are identified as leading factors in the development of myopia.
