Polypous rhinosinusitis (PRS) is a chronic inflammatory disease of the nasal mucosa and paranasal sinuses, accompanied by the formation of polyps. This condition significantly reduces the quality of life of patients, causing symptoms such as nasal congestion, olfactory impairment and frequent exacerbations. Despite existing treatment methods, many patients continue to suffer from insufficient therapy effectiveness and frequent relapses of the disease. In recent years, biological therapy aimed at targeting the molecular mechanisms of inflammation has demonstrated encouraging results in the treatment of PRS.
