This thesis analyzes the side effects of fennel (Foeniculum vulgare) tincture, their causes and clinical significance. Although fennel has many beneficial properties, some of its components, in particular anethole and estragole, may have adverse effects in some cases. Allergic reactions, effects on the hormonal system and drug interactions are also discussed.
