The article is devoted to the analysis of the use of simulation trainers insurgery as a method of teaching medical students. It considers the main types ofsimulators, their role in the educational process, as well as the advantages and disadvantagesof using such technologies. Particular attention is paid to how simulatorshelp students and young specialists develop the skills necessary to perform complex surgical interventions, and what opportunities they openfor improving the quality of medical education and improving clinical practice.
