This article reviews nosocomial infections in healthcare settings and the main bacterial species that cause them. In particular, it examines the effectiveness of antibiotics against these bacteria, their resistance levels, and modern treatment strategies. The results of the study show that the number of antibiotic-resistant bacteria is increasing, which is a pressingproblem for the healthcare system. The article also emphasizes the importance of rational use of antibiotics and infection control measures.
