Endometritis after cesarean section (CS) is a seriouscomplication that can negatively affect the reproductive health of women. This article discusses the main risk factors that contribute to the development ofendometritis after CS, as well as methods for predicting reproductive complications.Risk factors include a history of infections, prolonged labor,increased number of vaginal examinations, as well as variouscomorbidities such as diabetes and obesity. In addition, the use of invasive monitoring methods andinsufficient postpartum follow-up also increase the risk. Clinical and laboratoryindicators, including assessment of the level of white blood cells, inflammatory markers, and ultrasoundexamination, are used to predict reproductive complications. Timely diagnosis and treatment of endometritis, as well as preventive measures such as asepsis and antisepsis during surgery, can significantly reduce the risk of complications and improve reproductive outcomes [7].
