Artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming not only clinical processes in dentistry, but also patient interactions. This study explores the role of AI-based virtual assistants and chatbots in patient interactions, particularly in information provision, appointment scheduling, and improved adherence to treatment. It also examines challenges in the practical application of the technology, such as language barriers, data privacy, and patient trust. The article assesses the future prospects of AI in patient interactions.
