This article analyzes theoretical and methodological approaches in Russian pedagogy to developing reflective skills in primary school students during English lessons. The effectiveness of methods such as the spiral lesson model, differentiated instruction, reflective pauses, and multimodal assessment is substantiated. Reflection is emphasized as a tool for activating thinking and supporting personal development. Based on the findings, practical recommendations are proposed for modern primary education.
