Abstract
This article provides information on blood-sucking midges (Diptera: Ceratopogonidae) living in the Varzob Gorge. The number of different species, their population dynamics and physical structure are considered. Information on the morphology and ecology of blood-sucking midges is provided. The article describes and describes more than 20 species living in this region
