This article studies the distribution, biological development stages and population dynamics of the poplar leafhopper (Chrysomela populi Linnaeus, 1758) in the Fergana Valley. During entomological observations, this pest produces several generations per year, causing significant damage to leaves in the larval and imago stages. The development of Ch. populi is strongly influenced by climatic conditions, the type of phytocenosis and agrotechnical factors. The article provides accurate information on the phenological characteristics, morphological signs and wintering period of the pest. This information is of great importance in the development of integrated pest control measures. The results of the study form the necessary ecological and practical basis for the protection of poplar plantations in the Fergana Valley.
