This thesis discusses the theory of evolution created by Charles Darwin and its main driving factors - heredity, variation, struggle for existence and natural selection. In his works, Darwin covered in detail the types of determined (modification) and undetermined (mutation) variations. Also, correlative and combinatory variations are shown as important factors in evolutionary processes
