The light stage of photosynthesis is an important process that occurs in the chloroplasts of plants, in which light energy is converted into chemical energy. During this stage, chlorophyll molecules absorb light, water molecules break down (photolysis), resulting in the formation of oxygen, ATP, and NADPH. This thesis provides a detailed overview of the main reactions of the light stage, the role of enzymes in them, and the mechanisms of energy transformation. The importance of the process in plant life and the global ecosystem is also analyzed.
