In this work, the mass of dry sunflower seeds before soaking, the swelling process and the mass of swollen seeds after soaking, germination and sprouting of sunflower seeds under the influence of the pesticide Silist were studied. It was shown that the applied preparation Silist had a positive effect on the germination and growth of sunflower seeds. A high germination rate was noted in sunflower seeds of the Turkish variety AC444 when soaked in a solution of the preparation Silist. This trend was observed in the growth of sprouts of this plant.
