Azospirillum is one of the bacteria used as a biological fertilizer, as this bacterium is a bacterium that helps to increase the development and productivity of agricultural plants by fixing nitrogen and producing plant growth stimulants. Another potential of Azospirillum is its use as a biocontrol agent to control plant pathogens. The purpose of this article is to review the literature on the use of Azospirillum as a biofertilizer for food crops and to improve their growth, development and productivity.
