This article explores modern pedagogical approaches to developing reflective skills among primary school students in English language lessons. Reflection is viewed as a critical metacognitive process that promotes learner autonomy, self-assessment, and a deeper understanding of the learning experience. The study analyzes methods such as self-evaluation charts, reflective journals, pair and group discussions, based on a practical classroom experiment. The findings show significant improvement in students’ engagement, lexical proficiency, and reflective awareness.
