The article analyzes the pedagogical conditions that serve to form research skills in secondary school students based on biological experiments. The need to train highly qualified, competent researchers is justified in the modern stage of development of biology, in the conditions of computational and mathematical modeling methods, the widespread introduction of information and communication technologies, scientific research based on an interdisciplinary approach, the technical and technological complexity of the experimental base, and the globalization of biological research.
